Why can't I find the QR Code Generator in my browser?

Since 2020, all newly installed extensions need to be pinned manually to the toolbar. You can find our extension by clicking the

icon in the top right of your browser.

Why did you include a dinosaur in the QR Code?

It's not our dinosaur. It's Chrome's default QR Code. You might need to read the previous FAQ to pin our icon first.

Why do I need your extension if Chrome provides this as a default feature?

You need to click twice for Chrome's QR Code Generator but only once for ours. We have many other features that Chrome doesn't have.

Are there any security issues?

No, we don't have any security issues. We have more than one million installs and 550k weekly users. We don't request any permissions, so there is no way we can do anything in your browser. We simply convert the input to a QR code.
