Review Codes for Every Branch
Each business location on Google has its own review link, so a business with many locations needs many review codes. Restaurant groups, franchise chains, clinics, and salons with several branches can put their list of links or Place IDs into the table and get one code per location, each opening that location's review form. Marketing agencies can do the same for all their clients at once. The tool is free and needs no sign-up, and the static codes never expire. Your list stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
The Review Column
| Column | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Google review link or Place ID (required) | A location's review link, or its Place ID | ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4 |
There is one column, and each row is one location. Review links and Place IDs can share the same list.
How to Make Review Codes in Bulk
- Fill the table. Copy the column of review links or Place IDs from your spreadsheet and paste it into the first cell, or click Import CSV. The CSV template has an
inputheader, and Load example fills in three sample rows. - Check the count. Blank rows are ignored, so the number of codes ready should match your number of locations. If the page flags a row, fix it before you download.
- Set the design once. Pick colors, a logo, and a frame for every code in the batch. A frame helps a review code stand out on a busy counter.
- Choose file names and format. Best match uses each row's link or Place ID, and Row number only gives plain 001, 002 names. Pick PNG, SVG, or JPG.
- Download all (.zip). Every location's code arrives in one file, with content.csv as the index.
Use Cases
- Restaurant groups. Table tents in each restaurant point to that restaurant's reviews, not to a sister location across town.
- Franchise rollouts. Head office prepares a counter sign for every franchisee in one batch.
- Clinics and salons with several sites. Each site hands out follow-up cards with its own review code.
- Marketing agencies. Make review codes for every client location, then send each client their files.
Tips
- Sort before you paste. Put your sheet in location order, such as by city, so row 001 is easy to match to a branch name.
- Scan every code once. Place IDs look alike, so open each code and confirm that the business name on the review form is the right one.
- Separate brands into separate batches. One design covers a whole batch, so each brand gets its own run.
- Print from SVG. Counter signs and window decals stay sharp at any size.
