Text Message QR Codes by the Dozen
Most bulk SMS jobs keep one phone number and change the message. A restaurant wants TABLE 1 through TABLE 40. Each code opens the messaging app with the number and the text already in place, so every message that arrives tells you where it came from. The generator is free, needs no sign-up, and makes static codes that never expire. Your numbers and messages stay in your browser and are never uploaded.
Columns
| Column | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Phone Number (required) | The number that receives the texts, with its country code | +1 555 0100 |
| Text Content | The message that appears ready to send | TABLE 1 |
The single page's Country/Area Code picker is not in the bulk table. Type the country code at the start of each number instead, such as +1 for the US.
How to Create SMS Codes in Bulk
- Fill the table. Put the number in one spreadsheet column and the message in the next, then copy both columns from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them into the first cell. Drag the spreadsheet's fill handle down from TABLE 1 to number the rest in seconds. You can also click Import CSV, fill in the CSV template, or use Load example to see three table codes.
- Fix any row the page flags. A row with a message but no phone number needs fixing and stays out of the ZIP until it has one.
- Set the design once. Colors, a logo, and a frame apply to every code, which keeps 40 table tents looking like a set.
- Choose file names and format. Best match uses the phone number, so a shared-number batch is easier to sort if you pick Text Content under File names. Choose PNG, SVG, or JPG.
- Click Download all (.zip) to save one image per row, plus content.csv.
Use Cases
- Restaurant tables. A guest scans, taps send, and staff see TABLE 12 in the message, so they know where to go.
- Maintenance requests. Property managers put a code on each washer or unit door that pre-fills Unit 4B, Dryer 2, or a similar tag.
- Store sign-ups. A retail chain gives each store its own keyword, such as JOIN DOWNTOWN, so it can see which store each sign-up came from.
- Event check-in by entrance. One code per gate, such as CHECK IN NORTH GATE, shows where each guest came in.
Tips
- Start messages with a fixed word. A pattern like TABLE plus a number is easy to read in a busy inbox and easy to search later.
- Check the number once, carefully. In a shared-number batch, a wrong digit breaks every code. Scan one code and send the text to confirm it arrives.
- Keep messages short. One line reads at a glance when it lands on your phone.
- Print table tents from SVG. Vector files stay sharp at any size.
