Venmo QR Codes for Everyone Who Gets Paid

Venmo codes in bulk are for groups where each person collects on their own username: bartenders with personal tip cards, performers at an open-mic night, team managers in a youth league, or vendors at a craft fair. Instead of making each card by hand, list the usernames and download one code per person in a ZIP. It is free and needs no sign-up. The codes are static and never expire, and the whole batch is made in your browser, so the usernames are never uploaded.

The One Column You Need

ColumnWhat to enterExample
Venmo username (required)The username, with or without the @@shop-one

Each username becomes a link to that person's Venmo profile.

Steps

  1. Paste or import. Copy the username column from Excel or Google Sheets and paste it into the first cell, or use Import CSV. The CSV template's header is username, and Load example shows the format.
  2. Check the count. Blank rows don't count, so "QR codes ready" should match your head count.
  3. Design once. Set colors, a transparent background if the cards are printed on colored stock, a logo, a frame, and a size. Every code shares the look.
  4. Choose file names. Best match names files after the username, so @shop-one becomes 001-shop-one.png. Choose PNG, SVG, or JPG.
  5. Download all (.zip). Each person's code is its own file, ready to print or send.

Real-World Batches

  • Bar tip cards. Each bartender gets a card at their station with a code for their own Venmo.
  • Open-mic and showcase nights. The organizer prints a tip code beside every performer on the bill.
  • Youth league fees. Each team manager collects dues on their own account, and the league prints a flyer per team.
  • Craft fairs. Vendors who take Venmo get matching table signs from the organizer.

Tips for Tip Cards

  • Copy usernames from each profile. A dash in the wrong place opens the wrong person, so avoid retyping.
  • Usernames, not links. Each value becomes a venmo.com/u/ link, so trim any profile URL down to the username first.
  • Ask each person to scan their own code and confirm their name and photo before you print.
  • Laminate cards near drinks. Splashes and stains add up, and a damaged code stops scanning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make tip cards for my whole staff in one batch?

Yes. Put one username per row, set the design once, and click Download all (.zip). You get a separate image for each person, numbered in table order and named after their username, plus a content.csv index of every file.

What happens if one username in the list is wrong?

That code opens whatever profile the username points to, or none at all. Fix the cell and download again; the other rows come out the same. A code that is already printed cannot be edited, so reprint that one card.

Do I need the CSV template?

No. You can paste straight from a spreadsheet. The template helps when someone else collects the usernames: it is a CSV with the header username and three example rows. Replace the examples, save the file, and load it with Import CSV.

Will the preview show every card?

Thumbnails appear for the first 100 valid rows, so a long staff list may not all show on screen. The ZIP always includes every valid row, whatever the preview shows, and content.csv lists them all.
